Description: TREE to 16.55m in height, DBH 11.9cm, trunk height to foliage 6.8m, crown height 9.75m, crown width 3.95m, OUTER BARK smooth, with lenticels, FISSURES vertical, narrow, BARK dark brown, brown, white, grey, green, CAMBIUM light brown, yellow, WOOD light brown, yellow, EXUDATE absent, wood sample preserved, from felled plot. Local name: malang malang. Local uses: used for fencing, young leaves are chewed with betel nuts, timber for house construction, used for constructing small huts, used for firewood.
