TREE to 19.81m in height, DBH 22.9cm, trunk height to foliage 6.81m, crown height 13m, crown width 10.34m, buttresses up to 0.8m, OUTER BARK rough, FISSURES broad, BARK black, dark brown, brown, CAMBIUM dark brown, brown, red, WOOD dark brown, brown, light brown, red, EXUDATE absent, wood sample preserved, from felled plot. Local name: ang kubal. Local uses: timber for house construction, used for construction of small huts, bark used as poison for killing fish.
