TREE to 17.13m in height, DBH 11.9cm, trunk height to foliage 6.58m, crown height 10.55m, crown width 4.2m, OUTER BARK with lenticels, FISSURES vertical, BARK brown, yellow, green, CAMBIUM brown, WOOD brown, light brown, EXUDATE black, from felled plot. Local name: amandum amandum ningi. Local uses: leaves used for wrapping sago, edible fruits,timber for house construction, resin used to paint bows and arrows.
