Description: TREE to 26.25m in height, DBH 32cm, trunk height to foliage 18.7m, crown height 7.55m, crown width 4.9m, buttresses up to 1.15m, OUTER BARK flaky, with lenticels, BARK black, dark brown, brown, white, CAMBIUM dark brown, brown, WOOD light brown, white, EXUDATE absent, wood sample preserved, from felled plot. Local name: kubing gubing. Local uses: used for fencing, used for constructing small huts, houses, tables, and shelves.
