Description: TREE to 13.9m in height, DBH 10.2cm, trunk height to foliage 11m, crown height 2.9m, crown width 3.42m, OUTER BARK rough, with lenticels, FISSURES vertical, horizontal, broad, narrow, BARK black, grey, CAMBIUM dark brown, WOOD light brown, grey, EXUDATE absent, from felled plot. Local name: tikul. Local uses: timber for house construction, used for construction of canoes, CAMBIUM used for tying roof of houses.
