TREE to 17.8m in height, DBH 11.1cm, trunk height to foliage 9.4m, crown height 8.4m, crown width 4.41m, OUTER BARK flaky, with lenticels, FISSURES vertical, BARK black, brown, light brown, white, CAMBIUM brown, WOOD light brown, white, EXUDATE absent, from felled plot. Local name: makal gubung. Local uses: timber for house construction, leaves used for wrapping smoked leaves, used for construction of small huts and tables.
