Description: TREE to 20.46m in height, DBH 16.5cm, trunk height to foliage 13.1m, crown height 7.36m, crown width 7.77m, buttresses up to 0.4m, OUTER BARK with lenticels, FISSURES vertical, BARK black, dark brown, brown, orange, white, green, CAMBIUM brown, WOOD light brown, white, EXUDATE absent, wood sample preserved, from felled plot. Local name: makal gubung. Local uses: timber for house construction, leaves used for wrapping smoked leaves, used for construction of small huts and tables.
