Habitat:
Gently-rolling terrain ... In small wetland basin in mesic hardwood forest. Vernal marsh dominated by Glyceria grandis. Saturated mucky soil, often in shallow water. Additional associates include Glyceria borealis, Carex lacustris, C. versicaria, Sagittaria latifolia, Sium suave, Alisma triviale, Cicuta bulbifera, Galium tinctorium, Lemna minor.
