Habitat: Large rich fen...at disturbed edge of fen where power line cuts through wetland and ATVs have churned up the vegetation. Very wet at the edge where Lythrum is growing, with pools of water due to disturbance, otherwise fen mat is firm and dense. Associated species include Calamagrostis canadensis, Scirpus cyperinus, Dulichium arundinaceum, Bidens cernua, Thelypteris palustris, Lythrum salicaria, Salix, Bidens, Caerx cf. bebbiana.
