Shallow basin, mat of Sphagnum moss over sandy substrate. Several narrow, shallow drainage channels. Open community dominated by herbaceous species, scattered boulders.
Abundant Eleocharis sp., Juncus sp., Rhynchospora sp., Cyperus sp., Rhexia virginia, Spiraea tomentosa.
