Habitat: Shallow basin, mat of Sphagnum moss over sandy substrate. Several narrow, shallow drainage channels. Open community dominated by herbaceous species, scattered boulders.
Associated Species: Abundant Eleocharis sp., Juncus sp., Rhynchospora sp., Cyperus sp., Rhexia virginia, Spiraea tomentosa.
