Description: PILEUS: Immature, convex to campanulate; mature, plane with a low umbo; yellow brown (Methuen 5D5, 6D5), fading from center (4A5); up to 35 mm broad; surface greasy, ma ture specimens densely striate on margin; flesh rubbery, 4mm thick, grayish brown, watery, unchanging; odor fungoid, taste none to fungoid; HYMENOFORE: Attachment adnate, yellowish buff (5B3); 3mm broad; edges even with a thin white margin as detected with 10x lens; crowded with a regular pattern; lamellulae present, taperg; STIPE: Central, terete, equal; base somewhat thickened, embedded in fine wood particles; up to 70mm long, 4mm thick; concolor with pileus, darkening from base up; no exact match of color, more reddish than 81 d gy yBr, and more yellow than 47 d. gy yBr (Centroid); +/- shiny, with scattered fibrils; apex densely covered with veil remnants; +/- flesh cortinate veil present on young; flesh concolor with surface. Annulus present, fibrillose;
