Verbatim Coordinates: 44°8'48.04"N, 93°24'46.232"W; collector
Habitat: growing in a mesic oak-basswood forest. Other trees in the canopy and subcanopy include: Carya cordiformis, Gymnocladus dioica, Fraxinus pensylvanica, Celtis occidentalis, Juglans nigra, Acer negundo.
Associated Species: Smilacina racemosa, Arisaema triphyllum, Circea lutetiana, Geum canadense, Viola spp., Athyrium angustum.
