Habitat: In a prairie marsh.
Associated Species: Mostly Typha angustifolia and Phalaris arundinacea with pockets of native vegetation. Other sedges collected here on this date include: Carex scoparia, C. pellita, Eleocharis erythropoda.
Description: The collected specimen is a portion of a much larger, loosely cespitose plant.
