Habitat: on 50ft, moist, north-facing cliff; In moist, mossy ledges and crevices of large cliff formed by the river's cutting of upturned bedrock of the Thomson Formation (slate & graywacke). Cliff 60% shaded by small Thuja occidentalis, Pinus strobus, P. resinosa & Alnus viridis.
Associated Species: Maianthemum canadense, Campanula rotundifolia, Solidago hispida.
Notes: Another small ppulation on smaller north-facing cliff alogn Otter Creek 1/4 mile to the south.
