Associated Species: associated with Prunus virginiana, P. pensylvanica, Alnus viridis var. crispa.
Description: Fr mostly green, L=0.95-1.15 cm, W=0.95-1.2 cm. Nutlets 4-5 Collected from same stem as WRS 26145 (flowering specimen); Stamens ca 10, anthers pale pink. No compound thorns, simple thorns numerous Several plants forming a dense thicket of about 50 sq m, each about 2.5 m tall
