Associated Species: associated with Prunus virginiana, P. pensylvanica, Alnus viridis var. crispa.
Description: About 2-3 days past peak of anthesis (spring 1+ weeks late) Collected from same stem as WRS 26379 (fruiting specimen); Stamens ca 10, anthers pale pink. No compound thorns, simple thorns numerous Several plants forming a dense thicket of about 50 sq m, each about 2.5 m tall
