Habitat: Shore bordered by mature forest of white spruce.
Associated Species: associated with Viburnum trilobum, Cornus stolonifera, Alnus incana ssp. rugosa, Spiraea alba.
Description: At about peak of anthesis this date (spring 1-2 weeks late) Collected from same stem as WRS 26378 (fruiting specimen); Stamens ca 10, anthers pale pink. No compound thorns, simple thorns occasional Large shrub with 3 stems overhanging the water. Each stem 4 m tall, ca 7 cm dbh
