Associated Species: associated with Crataegus chrysocarpa, Quercus macrocarpa, Fraxinus pennsylvanica.
Description: Fruits pink, hard, L=1.5-1.95 cm, W-1.45-1.85; nutlets 5 Collected from same stem as WRS26562 (Flowering specimen); Stamens 12-18. Both compound thorns and simple thorns present, but sparse Open-grown plant divided at base into 3 stems, each ca 5 m tall, 12-16 cm dbh
