Associated Species: associated with Viburnum rafinesquianum, Prunus virginiana, Rhamnus cathartica, Parthenocissus inserta. dominated by red oak and basswood
Description: Fruits 0.95-1.20 cm long, 0.95-1.15 cm wide Collected from same stem as WRS26616 (flowering specimen); Stamens ca 20, anther color not discernible. Compound thorns present A small single-stemmed understory tree 5.2 m tall, and 9 cm dbh (15 cm at base)
