Description: About 4-7 days post-anthesis (spring ca 1 week late) Collected from same stem as WRS 26471 (fruiting specimen); Stamens 13-16, anthers pink. No compound thorns, but simple thorns frequent A colony of several stems, each about 4 cm dia and 3.4 m tall
