Habitat: In a soft sandy/silty substrate. The island was formed by natural processes 3-5 years previous. On the island is a small shallow pond where the plants were collected.
Associated Species: Other, more notable, plants collected here include Ammannia coccinea, Bacopa rotundifolia, Lipocarpha micrantha, Eleocharis intermedia, Echinochloa walteri.
