Habitat: In sandy soil - currently moist but likely dry most of the summer. At the margin of a small pond (about 3 acres) where it adjoins a mature forest.
Associated Species: Dominated by Quercus alba and Populus tremuloides.
Description: A clone about 10 x 3 meters in size; the plants standing about 2 meters tall.
Notes: This is the only place in the park where I have found this species to date.
