Habitat: Downhill edge of former railroad grade, at top of eroding gulley. Gravelly soil, light shade.
Description: Rays bright yellow, 15 mm long.
Notes: 15-20 flowering stems, plus a few dozen non-flowering rosettes, closely spaced, localized.
