not rovenelli (I think): stipe too short and too red, and found on tamarack tip up on root mass; blueing immediately after cutting, kott on flesh flashes orange, then quickly fades to pallid tan, koh on cap black-red; NH4OH no reaction in context, black on cap; FeSO2 no reaction
