Habitat: On a gentle north-facing slope; Calcareous fen dominated by Carex prairea and C. interior. Ph 8.1, conductivity 700 micromhos. Travertine common near surface of peat. Associated with Parnassia glauca, Cladium mariscoides, Rhynchospora capilalcea.
