Habitat: A brushy habitat at edge of a swale in an old field ... With C. macracantha ... Associated with Viburnum lentago, Alnus incana ssp. rugosa, Symphoricarpos occidentalis, Crataegus macracantha.
Description: Same plant as WRS 25481. Several stems growing from one crown; the largest 4.6 m tall, 10 cm dia at base. Flowering phenology ca 2 weeks later than C. macracantha. Stamens ca 20, anthers pink.
