Habitat:
Growing near the southeast shoreline of the western basin of Twin Lake (ID 30000400). A shallow, 50 acre boggy lake situated in the Anoka Sand Plain Ecological Subsection. Poor water clarity; no submerged vegetation observed around basin's shoreline. Eastern basin with much improved water clarity; submerged vegetation present. Individuals local; forming an ~18 meter x 5 meter stand in 60 centimeters of water.
