Local in shallow water (to ~12 inches deep). Dense patch covering a ~100 square yard area on the north side of the point here, north of the marina. Substrate is coarse sand and gravel over gently sloping granite bedrock. Mostly in full sun.
Associated with Schoenoplectus acutus.
