Abstract: This checklist is based on the work of A. G. Johnson, J. W. Moore and M. H. Smithberg (1965) "Native Plants of the University of Minnesota Landscape Arboretum". It was updated with information from a DNR Natural Resources Inventory & Management Plan (2002). The list includes both native plantings and wild occurrences of native species at the Arboretum. Serena Gjesvold, Taren Stanley & Mike Stoffel, students of PMB4321: Minnesota Flora, added notes on habitat and location from Johnson et al. (1965) to the checklist. Use the link above for precise locations of native plantings using the Plant Finder.
